He's o-u in the US. He also said not to rely on o-u Israel. I had no idea it was different, and I'm betting tons of other people don't know either  :(
Seems he doesn't know either.

And with all due respect, I'd go with the OU's official policy over "someone high up in the OU".

Sometimes a higher up can tell you something which is the reality even though it is not officially that way.

I didn't expect otherwise. I'm sure he's on top of the other hechserim I'm Israel when they apparently can't be on top of their own there.

You're entitled to that approach but you realize that "ain l'davar sof". More importantly, you are, inadvertently, I'm sure accusing the OU, and its " high up" person, complicit in his public silence, of misleading the public. What in the world could be the justification for maintaining a public opinion which is causing people to be nichshal in maachalot asurot???

Mehuderet doesn't require the establishment to use Glatt meat.

Looks like there are a few מנחה גדולה in Herzliya Pituach, one in nearby Industrial Zone Chabad House @3:15pm (Yad Harutzim corner Maskit), and 15 minutes before shkia at היכל מרדכי.

Otherwise in the city you have the big shul (probably around 20-30 minutes before Shkia), Chabad (37 Ha'atzmaut St.) has Mincha at around Shabbos Candle lighting time, followed by study of Ein Yakov, some Halacha and then Ma'ariv.

Most Shuls that have Ma'ariv is בזמנה. The exceptions I am aware of are Chabad Shul on Harav Kook Street which starts it's evening session at 6:30pm with shuirim in Halacha, Gemara and Chassidus, followed by Ma'ariv at 9pm (there's a free parking lot right before reaching it when driving on Harav Kook). And Mikdash Melech (ספרדי) which has the latest Ma'ariv in Herzliya that I am aware of, at 9:30pm (with the exception of Thursdays, when Chabad at 37 Ha'atzmaut St. has an evening Shiur followed by Ma'ariv).

I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
