Out of curiosity, why not have rabanut mehadrin? Does it cost more than Rubin?

The answer is that rabanut meats are much cheaper. The question is why a lot of places use Rubin meat with Rabanut hechsher.... The answer is Israelis in general don’t have too good business minds and think that they save themselves a few dollars on the hechsher.

Roderigo in Har Hacotzvim used to be a good place but now it switched to Rubin and it’s always packed and quality really fell.

Lots of places don’t take CC especially under a certain amount and taxi usually don’t accept, there are a few or Gett app,

For a premium steakhouse, the availability of mehadrin premium cuts is unreliable unless you are paying very expensive for local shchita. Entricote opened their own shchita and opened butcher stores (Well Done) to make it viable. Now others have replicate them (Picadelly) but prices are still at a premium. Peope don't realoze how little meat from the top 3-4 hechsherim is shechted locally and sold fresh. IMO the future is Kehillot.

For example Rodriguez before they switched to Rubin, they had Macpud joint Rubin meat, after they realized that most of there customers are not Sefaradi they adapted and switched to Rubin.
 In the North it’s always like that. Premium hasgacha on the meat and the local rabbi for the store.

I think Skyline has Kehillot. They are for sure under Rabbi Weiner so that doesn't really count as a plain rabanut place with mehadrin meat...

lots of good water hiking by nachal amud and in the golan

there's cliff rappelling in the area as well
