anybody in kashrus in israel will explain to you that it has nothing to do with politics, rather a new person took over and instituted many kulos which most people do not agree with. unfortunately you were misinformed
heres the problem, how can you have an opinion on something without knowing the facts?

lol. Funny you mention it. The person who was giving out a heter to eat there lives in your neighborhood. I won't go further than that

1. Any reliable rav (including on sorotzkin) will tell you that there are many reliable Rabinute Mehadrin Restaurants. All of the ones in Malcha are good (there's a really good - taste wise - Pizza Hut and KFC) and the ones in Center 1 are also ok. Basically it depends on the mashgiach.

2. I've heard that Rimon meat has been closed for the past few weeks, and that the milk will also be closed for a week sometime soon. Might be a good idea to check up on that before you go.

Dozens. I would strongly advise staying away from any rav that says Rabinute Mehadrin isn't good in Center1 or Malcha. They are either mis-informed, or severely delusional. (both of which are becoming bigger problems these days.)

WOW!! Reading this topic made me really Dizzy!!!! I didn't realize this was such an esteemed frum crowd and I don't think I'll eat anything out of my house after this however maybe since I'm a poshiter Mirer Talmud the briskers will hold me as irreligious and I can go back to enjoying my rabanut mehadrin meals!! And the best part about them is you don't have a million yeshiva yeshivish guys makin so much noise and nickel and diming them not that they're wrong but when I go out with my wife I prefer the quieter places!!

As we were traveling with a toddler, we did more eating than anything else.

Some places we ate and things we did:

While staying at the CP, we walked to the kosel on shabbos afternoon and took the bus back for free after shabbos.

Just for the record, I believe the 'free busses after Shabbos' are not free and are supposed to be paid up during the following week!
Correct me if I am wrong.
If thats true, you have to pay them back especially considering thats it's owned by Yidden.

Oh, this bus thing is still going on?
10 years ago it was already discussed.

But I guess the psak is still the same: "you are supposed to be unsure about it "
