Kind of a catch-22 I think.  It's too unorganized to add activities as it is now.
But you can add some of my favorites like the Ramparts Walk in Jerusalem on top of the old city walls, Kotel Tunnel tour, Banias Waterfall in the Golan, Nimrod's Fortress in the Golan, kayaking down the Jordan, etc
a fav? meaning ud do it every time ur here?
i did it this past summer for the second time, (first time was alomst 12 yrs ago) and i dont think id do it for another 12 yrs
Went to the "night spectacular" at migdal David. Special effects were pretty cool but other than that it was pretty boring. Not informative. Too politically correct
+1
a bit boring

I'd think of North as Haifa/Rosh Hanikra/Tiverya/Tzfas, etc.

Going up north doesn't necessarily mean getting to the Golan.

I've been up north plenty of times and have not yet made it to the Golan.

How about some restaurants outside J'lem?

Anyone want to rank the restaurants 1*-10*.  Obviously quite subjective, but at least people will know where to go and where to avoid instead of a plain listing.

Well, here's your answer  :P

After getting bad sushi from sushi garden last time on Sunday I thought you'd know not to go back on weekends. Was it bad last night?
first of all i went on a sat nite so one extra day, secondly, no one else had an issue so i thought it might have been a bad piece of fish

anyways, when i arrived i asked the sushi chef for an honest opinion of the freshness and he told me to stay away from the tuna, but the salmon was ok

at sushi gardem the tuna on sunday was rancid and i chucked the whole roll, however, the salmon at mataki was edible, just didnt taste fresh. not enjoyable and would never do it again, but different

however, as last time the smoked salmon was delicious and im happy to see they understand what smoked salmon is, not open up a pre sliced package of lox which isnt smoked at all (lox is cured)

Sushi Garden is not so bad IMHO...I ate there several times and never had a problem with them.
