Any ideas on what to do in Tel Aviv area over Chol Hamoed? We have a 2 year old and multiple young adults. Thanks.

anyone truthfully know anything about ricotta in har hachotzvim?
Yes, Great place. Food was very good i can't recall exactly what i ordered, but i was there with a party of 7 and we were all very satisfied.
Service was typical for an Israeli restaurant... I gave up long ago expecting service par excellence from people who grow up in an extremely casual enviroment....But that's for another thread!   ;)
Prices were almost what i would call cheap for a restaurant of their caliber. They have a business lunch special. Appetizer and bread are included when you order any entree, average about 50 NIS or about $13.  Dessert was also great i had the Belgian waffle.
All in all, great place i would deff go back.
Common sense...isn't so common.

Service in Israeli restaurants is far superior to most NY establishments.

I took my wife last night to the new red heifer...
Was a very nice place and waiters were nice...
But being new he didn't know the menu so well.. Was a little annoying...
The food was very good! But pretty expensive (in my opinion..)
My wife for stuffed chicken breast (stuffed with mashed potato) which also comes with a side for 95shech ... But was REALY GOOD!
I got the whiskey stake (350grams) for 150 shek ... Was a very good stake (but I would prob try dif one next time) especially on Israeli standards...
Prob is for that price it still doesn't come with any sides... Just get one for 19 instead of 29...
For a starter we had chicken fingers in jalopino sause... Was scrumptious!! Very soft and fresh..
Would defenately go back.. But only on special occasions..(was our anniversary )

Earlier this week we went to sushi mataki for a supper..( not sushi.. Though we did have their sushi before and in out opinion is much better then sushi garden...
Especially the service!! Was very good here... At Sushi garden on the other hand was rediculous... When we were there there were two other tables there... Took long time for food to come out and got half the orders wrong... (Were throwing out plates left and right..) for example a lady wanted a roll with no fish.. They made her with fish.. She sent it back .. It came back ten min later.. Was same roll just took out the fish!! Was totally disgusted by that...
The first time I was there was better and hope they improved by now.. Still have a groupon there but too nauseated to use it..
Anyhow back to out meal at sushi mataki... )
We got the white fish fingers and salmon lomaein ...
Both were very nice sized portion and decently priced.. Walked out paying like 130 shek and was very satisfied!! Would go back there any time.
