We"ll be in Rechavia area for a few days soon. What are the latest top 4 recommendations for Meat in the area (preferably nearby but open to going out of the area for a good option) with good hechsher? Varying price ranges.

Also a recommendation for a good dinner place near TLV where can eat before the return flight- not sure if we want Dairy or Meat so recommendation for both please.
Thanks.

He said with "good hechsher" - noya and Gabriel not so good IMO (beit Yosef)...
I would say right near rehavia=Keyara, (shayan) ,  red heifer, -
There's papaguya (in talipot area)
In town there's rimon fleishigs
got some good ref for new place radrigas (not in area) but wasn't there personally..
(And its same area as entrecôte )

...and Papagaio is no good IMO, so unless he is more specific I will recommend based on whatever knowledge of hechsherim I have. You should also be aware that Noya is not badatz beis yosef though I think I tried correcting you once about that.

Tip for next time: you can try to be a little less condescending.

Papagaio has a BAD history of kashrus, though it has gotten better since then. Still, it is under OU Israel which is not regarded too well among many rabbonim that I know. Badatz beis yosef I have yet to have heard any substantiated reports of bad supervision or kashrus standards. I have never heard more than the typical rumors or slander because it sefardi.

Noya is/was under rabbanut mehadrin. If they said beis yosef, they meant the shechita not the supervision. It may have changed but not to my knowledge.

Thanks guys... so based on what I'm reading I understand I have only two good choices with good hechsharim:

Red Heifer and Keyara. Any comments on ambiance are both similar or equal in quality?  anyone care to throw any others into the pot?

Papagaio wasn't impressive last time I was there. Looking for something upper class, elegant, to sit for a good 4-5 hours... Thanks

Not sure if this is where I should be asking but I am thinking of going up north this shabbos to a tzimmer near meiron. Anyone have any ideas of places they went and liked? I see numbers in the newspaper but I would rather a place that someone can review. I dont care Tiveria, Tzfat... Thanks
