Was there any riots on the 90? I've been driving the 90 towards Tveryah so many times with no problems, not sure of the current situation but I would definitely avoid Route 60 though

you usually get charged a one-time 50 shekel processing fee, plus whatever the regular tolls are  (it usually says the processing fee on your contract)

(you could theoretically register your car with kvish 6 and pay the toll and unregister after you retur the car, but probably not worth the hassle)
