Top 5 things to do that I can shlep a 3.5 year old to?
Someone mentioned the Temple Mount sifting project which is great. If archaeology interests you, there is a dig for a day (more like 3 hours total time, so you can squeeze something else in if you schedule it right. We did it at 10:30am and then headed south to the AF museum) at Beit Guvrin/Maresha. This turned out to be the highlight of our trip in November. You get to dig through a cave where you almost always find something. Mostly pottery, but people have found gold earrings and other cool things. After the dig, they take you to show you some of the really cool finds that they have had over the years and you get to take home some type of find that is relatively valueless but still cool. I have pieces of jugs in my house that are 2000+ years old.
This activity is a little on the expensive side ($30pp + entrance fee to the park) but well worth it and I plan on doing this anytime I go to Israel again.
BTW, I brought my 1 year old daughter. She loved getting her hands dirty. They also take you through a narrow cave (not to dig) that my daughter was too young for which a 3.5 year old might like a lot.

Restaurants I enjoyed on last weeks Israel trip:

Psagot Winery, Shomron (Amazing Service, Delicious food)
Ahavat Hayam, Jerusalem (Decent service, Good food)
Koya Burger Bar, Caesarea (Great food, Awesome service)
Moya, Rosh Pina (Crappy Service, Good food)

Do any of the wineries have mehadrin food?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I don't believe that Psagot has an ongoing menu, but their wines are great, their videos they show are nice, and it's a very pretty property.
If you PM me, I can explain more since I'm familiar w/ the place.

Ramparts walk in interesting. Don't go towards the kotel, go the other direction so you can see areas that you wouldn't normally see, and don't go on a hot day.

Yea, they have a small outdoor area, and it shouldn't be too busy over Purim (unlike Pesach/Sukkos when lots of tourists come). Plus, you may have the movie and tour to yourself, so no issue if your son makes noise.

Make sure to buy their Port if that's your thing, and you if you decide to buy wine, sign up for their club (no fee), and you get 10% off all wines, and 50% off a rotating bottle.
