From what I understand, they may not do Shmini. However it was requested~~; it seems someone arrived right before shabbos (to be on time for the zman - did anyone think of that? ), yet couldn't make it to an american leining.~~ (israel read shmini 8th day of pesach)

Presumably for people who davened with second day minyan on Pesach and Israeli minyan last week (and didn't realize they were going to miss a parsha until shabbos)

The whole minyan must be like that, otherwise why are they catching up this week instead of last week?

he was assuming most americans that were here already made sure to catch up.

1. Israel Shmini || USA Pesach
2. Israel TazMetz || USA Shmini
3. Israel AchKed || USA TazMetz

If someone came between 1 and 2, and only heard TazMetz, so he needs to hear Shmini and AchKed.
If someone came between 2 and 3, only heard Shmini, needs to hear TazMetz and AchKed.

-1 seems they finally started up in jlem they have 3 cars driving around my area I just checked.

They definitely have cars in tel Aviv
