Just got back from waffle bar. The sushi prices were outrageous. Veg and yummy roll were 47 a roll. The others varied from 57-67. Someone on the table next to me got one. It looked like  there were around 5 small pieces in the roll.
Incorrect, it's 39 for veg or yummy (see moish's pic).

You're looking for activities in Jerusalem? You can try the Lyfta hike near merkaz ha'ir
my wife and I have done that 3 times in last 3 years, but that is an excellent suggestion. Should be in wiki. Great view and free. Plus they have a place for men to swim. Never did it but others look like they're having fun.

Yea, kinda expensive.   Although it hit me that sushi in general is quite expensive. IIRC in NY a "fancy" roll costs $10.  So you're paying an extra ~$5 a roll here.
$5 extra doesn't bring out the expensive point as well as the 100% price increase on vegetable rolls over the rest of the civilized world

I don't think I ever posted about this but my wife and i went on a Israel-restaurant-binge on out trip in Feb.
The best place we ate at was at Piccolino on Yoel Moshe Salomon, 12. We ended up there 2 more times before we left.
The BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK by far was Siciliano on yaffo. The lunch special is unreal. amazing food at maybe 60% of Rimons prices. Good hechsher and the owner is such a nice lady whose goal is to provide good and affordable food for locals (and tourists, i guess) in an area overrun with overpriced, tourist geared restaurants. https://www.facebook.com/pages/%D7%A1%D7%99%D7%A6%D7%99%D7%9C%D7%99%D7%90%D7%A0%D7%95-%D7%99%D7%A8%D7%95%D7%A9%D7%9C%D7%99%D7%9D-Siciliano-Jerusalem/234681520050165?fref=ts
Truly the best hidden gem we found
