Went to skyline last ni.
Food was very good, not amazing.
Had lamb salad for appetizer - the lamb was delicious, wasn't so in to the salad
Mains- had entrecote and the assado - entrecote was really good, assado was just good.
Desserts were awesome, chocolate souffle and another chocolate item, though the accompanying ice cream left what to be desired.

However, what really stood out, in a bad way, was the service. So unattentive. We say for 15 minutes after we got our menus and I had to then ask to be served. Asked what was good on the menu and she just repeated the entire menu. Took forever for our food to come. We sat for 15 minutes after we had finished eating and I had to ask for the desert menu and for our table to be cleared.
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

There a difference between good service and waiting forever. I've been to plenty of restaurants here where you don't feel like you're waiting forever. Also , found the service at Rodriguez to be very good

Funny thing is when I went, we weren't at all impressed by the food, but the service was amazing. I guess like most places in Israel they're consistently inconsistent.

LB is my go to, and I find it 90% consistent, and very solid food. Small menu, but most of it is really good. Service is pretty consistently good

Sounds like Israel.

We enjoyed LB. Haven't been to Skyline.

Pretty similar to my experiences there some good food, nothing impressive. First time was empty service was passable. Second time not good at all.

Exactly my feelings.

FWIU Red Heifer seems similar to skyline in its ability to be a great restaurant but at the same time you never know.

Buy a prefunded 30 day sim on eBay and have it waiting and activated.

We went to Red Heifer on sukkos, and were very happy. Service was great -- to me, half the reason you eat out is to be treated nicely, so having bad service is just as bad as having bad food.
