With a infant, don't love the crowds. I just found out they have ice skating by cinema city so I'm gonna go check that out. I'll post back how it was.

Please do!!

Am I better off working with the exchange rate or using any specific ATM to take out money with a 'no forex' card?

Atm. Though if not taking out a lot then the amount that exchange places take is pennies

Any ATM is fine or only certain ones? (And if so which?)

All fine, if you Don't have a card like TD that reimburses atm fees then stick to the bank atms which are all free

It was very nice! Costed 40 NIS for an adult and 30 NIS per child which entitles you to a half an hour of skating. The rink was small but that's to be expected here. Israeli's aren't expert skaters because there aren't many (any?) rinks here open on a year-round basis so if you know what you're doing you can have most of the middle of the rink to yourself :) Cinema City is a movie theater that doubles as a mall so there were shops while we waited for our turn. It was a bit crowded on the ice but not too bad. There were small seals on the rink for young children to hold onto. Off the Rink, there was also little electric cars for 2-5 year old kids to ride, which the parents could control like a remote control car, very cool. We didn't do it so i don't know prices. They also had a exhibit of some sort for kids upstairs. We were there for about 3 hours and my wife enjoyed window shopping in some stores. This is great for a day trip. The location is also perfect, as it's close to Gan Sacher, Binyanei HaUmah, town, and other attractions, in case you wanted to make other stops.

How old is your infant, and what did he/she do while you guys were skating?

Anyone have a number of a good electrician in Jerusalem?
This guy is awesome (although he is quiet/shyish) - 0533160002.  He's an electrician-al genius (made up that word), and extremely cheap.
His name is Yehuda.  You can tell him you got his number from me (tell him my first name and the street i live on).

Neither.  He's orignally from Iraq or Iran or Syrian I think.  Frum jew.  I've recommended him ever since I was told about him a few months ago, and everyone is very happy with him.

Thanks, I'll save his number.
I ended up using someone on Friday but didn't like his pushy and loud attitude

Sorry I only saw your post now :(
I edited my original post with a bit more info.

There's another guy as well who is extremely knowledgeable and handy (I'm using him now to replace my solar panel of my dud shemesh. he is charging me approximately 800 shekel less then handyman tzvi, for example).  I'm not if he's an electrician, but I'm pretty sure he is.  One of those guys that does everything.  Berish - 052-864-7700     I actually have a great story about him.  When I first moved here years ago, I got a flat tire on the way to return the car back.  Was stuck on Sderot Eshkol.  Anyhow he pulls up (maybe he lived nearby), and took care of the whole situation quickly and happily. (he actually used to be part of chaverim in US)  I asked him for his number so I can pay him (I had no money on me, and I felt bad not giving him anything), and later that day paid him.  Fast forward 5 years.  I was telling my chavrusa that I needed some work done on my roof (the dud), and he started telling me he has this awesome guy, etc etc etc, "Berish".  It's the same one :)
