Which 5 Cities would anyone suggest i go to for a few days each in the summer. includiing 2 places with kosher hotels for shabbos. I'm looking for a relaxing vacation, doesnt have to be a bustling tourist attraction. Its for my wife and I.

If you're looking to save some cash, buses are definitely the way to go. Especially if you're going to the standard places where there are easy bus routes. I often found it easier to just take buses anyway.
If you want the convenience of your own schedule and having a place to keep the stuff you bring along on each trip, get a car. Personally, I recommend bussing it
thank you. If I do get a car for a day or two is it generally safe to follow Waze ?

Waze in Israel has a option of staying in Israeli occupied areas

Yup. Although as long as you're sticking to normal places/routes I've never felt it was a big problem to follow waze without turning on that option

One shabos in j'lem obviously. For the other you can go to Teveria, or I would suggest maybe renting a tzimmer in Tzfas and buying takeout food. First time in israel?

For a first timer in Isreal is it better/safer to rent a car or take the bus everywhere
As long as someone knows where they are basically going, and not solely relying on waze, I would say definitely rent a car. With a few guys splitting the cost, it will definitely come out cheaper and will let you be on your own schedule. I've done many summers in Israel with buses and our own car and you couldn't compare the chill of having your own car to chasing down a full bus and not being let on or having to take 2 buses or a bus and then a cab to get to where you wanna go...

Depends how well you deal with the heat. Eilat is going to be close to a hundred degrees at night in the summer & yam hamelach can reach 120 during the day. It is very doable if you sit on the beach and/or do water sports all day. I would suggest going up to the Golan for a few days. Plenty to do there and you can get a nice tzimmer on the Golan side of the kinneret where it'll be a lot cooler than j'lem or down south

Anyone here have Bank Hapoalim, belonging to branch ramat eshkol (695, on paran)?  Did you get a letter in the mail telling you that they are switching  you to Kikar Tsion branch?  Did you try fighting it?

I'm seriously considering switching over to Leumi...
leumi did the same to me already a couple of months ago

We ate in Rimon fleishig last night. The service is horrendous, the food excellent. Very skimpy on portions.

While we are at it, we went to Piccolino in Ben Yehudah Motzei Shabbos. Food was "ok", prices through the roof! They told us they're closing so we had to hurry up. Weird for Ben Yehudah on a Motzei Shabbos. Very few people. Don't plan on trying it again. On the other hand, Lechen Basar was packed, expensive but excellent food. This was on Wednesday night.

The cafe cafe(dairy) in the Namal (not far from the sheraton) is mehadrin (and shemita lechumra last I checked)
