Machpoud. And Rabbi Weiner recommends it after checking it out.
How recently? Including the filet minion?

I think about 2 months ago. However He recommends staying away from the Fillet mignon and Sirloin steak.

Maybe we are referring to a different dish. What I'm talking about was a Knish like pastry filled with way too small of a ratio of chopped meat to dry dough. Either way it isn't lachmajion
Indeed. We are talking about 2 different dishes.

First ask the kitchen if the filet mignon is indeed filet mignon
May we assume Rabbi Wiener checked before "giving his word" and "advising against" the Filet?

Ok. So then if he's advising against the Filet then "ask your local Rabbi" applies.
That's all I was saying in my original post

So how does he hold of the whole place if he doesn't recommend certain foods? It's either good or not and if not then the utensils aren't good?

-1 it's a halchik issue with the actual piece of meat not the kashrus.

Can you explain? There is a halachik issue with gid hanoshe so that would make utensils traif. No?

No. They are cuts of meat near the Gid Hanasheh, which Sefardim have a Mesora how to cut, however Ashkenazim don't, therefore Rabbi Weiner advises to stay away, however it is not a Kashrus issue, being that Machpoud is a Sefardi Hashgacha.

It seems from that Teshuva that R Moshe is Matir if a Sefardi cut it, However being that it is a very complicated procedure Rabbi Weiner advises to stay away, being that he is not sure who is actually doing it.

I have heard that R Weiner said the filet minion is fine since it is not real but to stay away from the sirloin

Maybe call him and hear from him what he says about instead of saying what you "heard".
