Whats the risk if any of bringing a suitcase full of raw meat through customs in ben gurion?
I've done it many times. Risk is you'll get caught and lost your suitcase full of meat and possibly be fined as well. BH never happened to me. Just stay cool and use old suitcases

I've heard old suitcases are less likely to be opened and searched

The risk is them taking it away (and maybe putting you on a list). I only know of two people who got caught.

-1 They look out for tensed people, and people coming from certain countries e.g. Ukraine. They also stop random pepole to put their bags through the scanner.

Walk through calmly, and don't look at them. But no guarantee.  ???

I came in this week and they stopped me because I bought from duty free going out of Israel some bottles and cigarettes but was all within the limit and picked it up when I came back.
But they packed it as 4 huge cartons, so when I went through customs I heard them telling each other "look what we got coming through" they told me to put through ONLY the duty free boxes but didn't bother with my other cases.

So bring in things that look suspicious and they will only check that.....

These people are Israeli smart people doesn't help talking on the phone...

Is there an app that tells you when the next J-m bus is coming - not just Moovit which has schedules but not actual real time data? thanks
