Totally Random.
Anyone know what the best time to go to on Friday to  Peres Funeral to be able to see Obama and/or other Dignitaries from foreign countries?
Best place to go near Har Herzel to see them?
Should I go in around 9:30 - the start or the end - 1:30? Etc...

You will get locked up when caught just like everybody else who's done it.
Worst part is that the customs guys heat it up and it in your face

No issues at all bringing cooked. Raw you can't although everyone does. If you get caught it can be taken away.

+1 They stop people randomly, and if they catch you they'll take it away and take you for a little ride if they're board, but that's about it.

I've gotten pulled over with a full 50lb suitcase of raw meat and it was not taken away. So it's not always true that they take it away.

Wow. It must've been Eliyahu Hanavi that opened your suitcase.  ;)

Eliyahu hanavi must have been on duty when I got pulled over also . but on a more practical note, they are usually looking for bigger offenses. By me for example, they were looking for drugs, when they couldn't find any they let me go with 75lb meat, 7 cartons, and an iPhone. Thank G-d

Not everybody gets away with that. They're often perfectly happy to get you for cartons and iPhones too.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

If that's what they're looking for that day... When the iPhone 6 came out, they weren't too concerned about cigarettes. Obv its a major YMMV
