a whole bunch, I had the Pita Grill which is an assortment of grilled meats akwardly placed atop a pita. Quite small portion. Still an awesome restaurant IMHO & I prefer it to Keyara/Sheyan any day
i am much more of a fan of sheyan than keyara. sheyan is a great aisian fusion place and in my opinion keyara does not have that much on their menu to offer, they have like 1 steak 2 chicken and some fish maybe one veal .plus its very expensive

They have a setup where you can experience things like a walk in the park, crossing a street, on a boat, in a cabin, even buying things in a store (I'm still unsure how much I paid for my bar of chocolate  :D) and more.

the store is pretty cool...they will only take 20 shekel notes and coins and can tell if you hand them a fifty note...

in fact the bills in israel are being replaced with ones that the blind will be able to tell the denomination...

I went a few years ago when the 2 shekel coin just came out, they were still a bit confused by it.

The deaf museum (in the same compound) is nice too.
Don't forget both require advance appointment. At high season the blind museum is booked weeks in advance

I very much enjoyed Kiyara - right underneath Shayan. I found their steaks done very nicely, and their desserts were delicious!

If I remember correctly, the hashgacha is Badatz Agudas Yisroel.

my favorite jerusalem restaurant is papagayo's in talpiyot, try the brazilian table!

I've heard a lot of good things about Papagayo, but check with your LOR - The hashgacha is OU, and OU in eretz Yisroel is not the same as in america.

The better hechshairim in isreal use products -(spices )- certified by the OU so at the end of the day even badatz is relying on OU.
I don't know this for a fact. It has been discussed extensively over here

2 points:

1) As i said, the OU there is not the same hashgacha as the OU here. I'm not an expert, but from what I understand it's not entirely the same organization (although I may be wrong).

2) Spices are not necessarily the same thing as trusting the shechita.

In the thread that I linked to above, It looks like other ddf'ers seem to think its one and the same organization.

AFA spices not being the same as meat - very valid point.  I didn't realize that your earlier post was referring solely to meat. -(or was it not?)

Interesting - the OUs website seems to imply the same thing. I guess I was wrong. That said, you still might want to ask your LOR. Some people say it's fine, some don't. Go with your rabbi. :-)
