I wanted to go היימישער עסן last Thursday. I got to רחוב קרן קימת לישראל in רחביה and couldn't find it. Apparently they moved. Does anyone know where they are currently located?

Possibly by the windmill on ramban.  However there is a new place that opened on ibn shaprut where sosumi use to be.  It's open Thursday till like 2-3 am and on Friday. Machpud and good food(shabbos food.  Sit down and take away) . Hope that helps somewhat.

I will check it out tomorrow. Would you happen to know what the closest intersection is?
Thanks

Ibn shaprut and kkl.. if your driving turn into Ibn shaprut from ramban and you'll see it on your right as you get to kkl.

Possibly by the windmill on ramban.

That's where it's currently supposed to be. Ramban 8.

They no longer have a store front. They take orders over the phone.

And now you have a perfect example of why the kashrus situation in the city of the Jews is so messed up. When (religious) people don't show that it matters to them and are willing to accept the word of the guy with the kippa (or less), why should they bother with the expense?

He may have Rubin - I don't know. But when he's looking to save some money, what do you think is going to go first if it's not affecting traffic? They'd put gristle in the burgers if noone would say boo...
I realize this is an old post and I'm not necessarily directing it @armadillo just wondering in general... If you can't trust the guy with the kippah who works in the store why can you trust the guy with the kippah or is supposed to come check that everything is to a certain standard? What makes one more trustworthy than the other ? There have been plenty of mashgiachs caught "lying" or taking bribes to let things slide etc.

Eventually if you're eating out it all comes down to trust, no?

There was a gezeira when it comes to financial gain. I seem to recall a Mishna in Demai about it. I would love to be enlightened, care to link me to a case of one of the universally accepted hasgachas in Israel having a case of rouge masgiach?

Essentially, yes.

There is however, in all industries, a path to minimize risk or corruption by employing a 3rd party to oversee and regulate without a direct benefit from profits.

Been a while since I rented a car. Last time I had to use the little yellow electronic box for parking that you stick in the window. Has the parking gone to an app yet?
