See my comment above. When considering a specific restaurant in israel, it is probably worthwhile to ask your rabbi.

I'm looking for recommendations for good places to eat in Israel. What are the 3 best places you've eaten at in Jerusalem or Gush Dan areas? All responses would be appreciated...

Thanks for replying. I know most of the restaurants in Jerusalem, and could go by sites like eLuna, but as I asked, what are the 3 BEST places you've been to that you would recommend?

I just ate tonight in a place called ShushCafe on Keren Kayemet. It's milchig and the hechsher is Chug Chasam Sofer PT (though it is also under a new hechsher run by one of the biggest mashgichim in the business). The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I would say a cross between a classic Tel Aviv cafe and a little Manhattan feel (as far as clientele). Nina's will never recreate such an ambiance, though I know they'd love to. The service was very attentive too - so unIsraeli.

youre probably referring to the bogus hashgacha they used to have. m &m is suggesting that they just got a real one. im not recommending bd"tz b"y, merely pointing out the difference
