You can either drive yourself,  take egged,  or take a tour.  Driving yourself is likely the cheapest,  but definitely not the safest..
If you want a tour,  there's Hoffman Tours and The Hebron Fund.

We took the egged bus, was a little roundabout but otherwise fine and a lot cheaper than a tour

I wouldn't, unless you are at least somewhat familiar with the area and maybe don't go off highways for side routes

Israel May 18th - 29th i have some itinerary scratched together looking for some advise/tips.. please.

Leaving JFK May 17th to TLV with a stop in FRA Flying Lufthansa biz (80k united saver)..
arriving Israel>

Thursday
May 18th 7:00pm dinner at the Ritz in Herzliya Hotel: Herods Herzliya,

Friday

afternoon driving up north to Tzefas, Ari h"k mikva, staying shabbes at the ruth rimonim friday night davening in at the Carlebach shul,
shabbos morning touring a little old city,

Motzie shabbos

Meron, R' Shimon,

Sunday
tour guide for a little Tzefas, Amuka, ATV riding, Rosh Hanikra, little Kevurim in Teverya, Hotel: Leonardo Plaza teverya,

Monday
driving down to Mitzpe Ramon staying the night at the Beresheet hotel, durring the day we'll take a tour from the hotel to the Crater,

Tuesday
Tour guide picking us up from hotel taking us to Herods Dea sea and touring masada ein gedi, Jeeping Midbor Yehuda and back to hotel,

Wednesday
Tour guide picking us up from Dead sea taking us to Jerusalem touring old city, and Ir David, Hotel: Leonardo Plaza

Thursday
Segway tour old city (or maybe new city?), Yad V'shem, Meah Shearim, Geula, Yaffa, Memilla mall, Hotel: Leonardo Plaza

Friday

Hoffmans tour to Kever Ruchel and Mearas Hamachpila, Shuk.. Hotel: Waldorf

Shabbos
Nothing plain on agenda.. Hotel: Waldorf

visiting relatives.. Hotel somewhere in Tel aviv, 6:15am flight back to NYC with a stop in Vie..
