Tried Grill Bar tonight. Unimpressed.

Sorry to hear. I’ve had great experiences there. Nothing out of this world, just solid good food especially for Israel.

Clearly, we have different opinions on food. Now it makes sense that we disagree about Skyline and Lechem Ubasar as well.

I was waiting for you to say that, although I’m not so sure it’s true.

To sum up this thread, no mehadrin meat restaurant in Israel is impressive/better than a 7.
The end.

Can't speak to Gabriel, but Rodriguez is very easy to find street parking at dinner time

If you're into quantity over quality, sure.
Either way, it's not better than a 7.

Crave isn't mehadrin?

What are some of the good non-fancy mehadrin places in Jerusalem?

I had an AMAZING experience with Nir Friedman form https://www.hiddenvalley.co.il/
Very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Not sure which areas he covers.
(He's not religious so some of the history/science etc. he mentions may not agree with you, I just tuned it out.)
He made a great effort to please everyone.
