Where can you buy Rav Kav card at the airport?
You could get it on almost every local bus what stops by the airport without a picture (5 Shekel) or in the RK office Like Rav Shefa with a picture the +1 for a pic is if you want to load it monthly or yearly it only works by pic +2 is, its free

I challenge you to find a mashgiach who will tell you that his oversight is actually rather poor. Like, "well, the meat is all Rubin, but my standards on overseeing the kitchen a bit weak and I probably miss a bishul akum issue here and there, and sometimes I don't pay attention to which silverware ends up in which dishwasher."
[/quote]

Well, my experience has been that the mashgichim in places with Rabbanut hashgachos have been very candid. I have had responses ranging from, "there really isn't anything you can eat here, if you want mehadrin"  to "this and that and that are ok but not the cooked stuff or this and that cheese" to "almost anything is ok. Only things are this and that specific cold item"  to " this is entirely mehadrin and there is a specific reason why the hashgacho is regular Rabbanut"-  which they explain.

That only addresses the products which are only the half of the equation. The other half is the quality of his oversight.

Fair enough but I guess you have to consider whether you can rely on "ed echad ne'eman b" isurim", after having a discussion with him to confirm basic competence. I guess back to AYLOR.

How are you confirming competence by speaking with him?

Basic competence in terms of knowledge of the issues and then perhaps "ed echad ne'eman..." will apply. As I said, AYLOR whether this is sufficient, but you certainly are entitled to feel that it is not.

I'm going to Israel next week with a 1.5 yr old. I'd like to take a taxi around, possibly to Meron, Tzfas... Do taxis usually have built-in-carseats or do I need to buy/borrow one?

If you're going that far, I'd rent a car

if you order thru Gett then you could request a car seat but I think

If you're going that far, I'd rent a car
or take a Jewish Driver for the same price which will supply you with the car seat

no as the taxi but you won`t have to take a nervous taxi driver with a smoked up car
