If you're going that far, I'd rent a car

Looking into renting. UR only seems to allow rentals from Alamo in TLV, at a ridiculously low price of $90 or 6k points for a week (next week). Am I missing something.

As has been discussed numerous times in this thread http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=1211.0 when you rent through many of these prtals they do not include all fees.

the separate beach at Yam Hamelech is closed for renovations. Anyone have suggestions where a group of men and women can go that are quiet or separate by the Yam Hamelech?

I'm flying back tomorrow morning TLV to Toronto to LGA with Air Canada (thanks Dan). I wanted to buy wine at Duty Free but I have to clear customs AND security in Toronto. I'm not worried about customs as I will have less than the allowed amount but anyone have actual experience with trying to bring duty free through the Toronto security? Is there a way to do it (like in a sealed bag or something). Please answer only if you absolutely know the answer. I really rather not have to throw out my bottles in Toronto.

I don't have Toronto experience, but had no problems in ZRH stopover. The important thing is that the original duty free bag be sealed and  never opened. They also may want to examine your receipts.

Just an update - I went to the Duty Free and they refused to put the bottles into a sealed bag.  They told me that they would sell the bottles to me, but because they don't have an arrangement with the Toronto Pearson Airport, they would not put it into a sealed bag, even though for the Toronto Airport security, a sealed bag is good enough.  It was not an Air Canada things because with AC, you could bring the bottles on even without the bag and certainly with the bag.  It was a lack of arrangement thing.  I don't really understand, isn't that the point of the sealed bags - so duty free could sell things and people wouldn't lose it by security? (and it wasn't a cashier thing, the manager told me this)  In case anyone else was wondering, you do not pick up bags during the Toronto transfer to NYC, so the manager's suggestion of buying without the sealed bag and putting into the suitcase in Toronto was not helpful.

As an aside, duty free was running their usual buy 3 get a 4th free on certain bottles, including Barkan Superior at $51.90, making 4 bottles $155.70.  If anyone is coming back to NYC and wants to split 4 bottles with me, please PM me.

I have no direct knowledge but would be very surprised to find out that it was.

ETA:  Post your general location and a technically able DDFer may volunteer to desmantle and rebuild in a way that paters it.
