The taxis from the airport are now 240 shekel. (yes the ones that wait there when you walk out)
Till you add the luggage. They wanted between 272-280 last week

Idk about suitcase charges etc. My bil came in about a month ago (w/o luggage, just a carry on) & getting a taxi from the stand was 240.

LLBG has signs all over arrivals that discounted Taxis are available at the upper level (presumably departures). Are you referring to the discounted rates?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Does anyone have the latest kashrus info on the WAJ? What is the best way to reach the Mashgiach? Are the restaurants in the hotel all covered by the same Mashgiach?

Are there any reliable places to eat in Herzliya? What is the best way to reach the Mashgiach at the Ritz?

TIA

That depends on what you consider reliable.

If you ask the local Chabad Rabbi, the answer will probably be no. IINM Cafe Cafe in the Marina (right behind the Ritz) has חוג חתם סופר פתח תקוה.

שוק מהדרין @Lev Ha'Ir (intersection of Sokolov & Ben Gurion - right across from the big shul) just regained Badatz Eida Chareidis supervision on their fresh fruit and vegetable department. They also carry a better variety of products with reliable Hashgochos than other supermarkets. I don't know what hashgocho they have on their baked goods or meat department.

What does LLBG stand for? Same as TLV meaning the airport?

Is there a thread with frequently used abbreviations on DDF?

Correct, it is the airport code for TLV. I used that rather than TLV, in order to clearly indicate the airport, rather than the city (or sometimes the country, as that is the most commonly used gateway). Airlines have 3 letter codes, and airports have 4 letter codes. You can often see them in flight tracking websites. For example ELAL 2 letter code is LY, 3 letter code is ELY, Kennedy Airport 3 letter code is JFK, 4 letter code is KJFK. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airports_by_IATA_and_ICAO_code

There is a thread for DDF abbreviations, but often a quick google search is all you need.

I heard from a high-level Rabbi in o-u that חתם סופר of בני ברק is no longer good, and חתם סופר of פתח תקוה was never good. So it's not so simple that those are universally accepted.

I was just in hertzeliyah about a month ago and stayed at the ritz. I had the same questions and asked the chef if it's reliable or not, and he said he personally wouldn't eat there because it's not mehadrin. So in the end we ended up eating at lechem vebasar

The o-u where? And bnei brak is getting better agreed for a while it became pretty weak but they recently got very reliable people in the higher ups checking into things and bringing them up to par

He's o-u in the US. He also said not to rely on o-u Israel. I had no idea it was different, and I'm betting tons of other people don't know either  :(
