I actually contacted OK, because I wanted to know if they're certifying the visitor center also, or only the production facility. They said De Karina was (ETA) referred decertified in June - no explicit clarification as to who dropped whom.

Waiting to hear back directly from De Karina as to whether they still have another hechsher.
What did you hear back about this?

Just getting ideas at this time - I don't have firm plans or dates yet. But it looks like this forum might itself be an avenue as soon as things firm up on this side. Thnx.

I went years ago with yeshiva. It was a black hat yeshivish place, so I'd assume they looked into the hechsher, but who knows, and who knows if they still have the same one.
ETA after reading up thread a bit, I see my post is utterly useless
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

In the event that their Seminary doesn't provide transport, what would it cost for four Seminary girls, each with two large suitcases, to travel TLV to Jerusalem? Any specific recommendations?

And who should one call for this van?

I'm looking for someone with place for 6 adults & 3 children.

Also, looking for a secured ride to Chevron for for 8 adults & 3 children.

The only number in the wiki doesn't have such a vehicle.

Nesher is always a solid option. Since taxi drivers charge extra per person and per bag, Nesher for about 70NIS pp could be cheapest. And with 4 people going to the same place, the number of stops shouldn't be too bad.

Thanks.  The Seminary actually recommended this approach.  Nesher has no problem with so many bags? (Ps is Nesher the same as Sherut? If so, I have done that several times.)

the stops can still be pretty bad.
Regardless I would still "splurge" on the extra 75-100nis
To know I have a driver waiting for me and taking just my friends and i directly to my destination.

A tip - if you are 4 all going to the same place - tell the nesher driver you're only going with him if he drops you off first. I just did it last month and it worked like a charm. Try it! If he hadn't agreed to that we would have gone to look for a taxi.
