Do any credit cards cover medical insurance? or is it recommended to purchase travel insurance before traveling to EY?

I use harel. You can purchase it through egert and Cohens website. I've found it to be pretty good in yerushalayim. Wolfson Drs take it and the pharmacy upstairs does as well. You can Google egert and Cohen and the forms are on their website. Good luck

Probably around 1.75 to2 bucks a day.  With that policy do you have to lay out the money and they reimburse? Harels has pretty good coverage for a tourist. I use it all the time.

Yes you lay out the $ and the company reimburses you, it's pretty easy to get refunded

Allianz is great for short/long trips. IINM, Harel only covers medical, and not theft, baggage delay, flight cancelation, roadside assistance, etc.

Egert and cohen do offer those services as well if one is looking for that. Its not always so simple to lay out money and hope to get it back.  it is a gamble. I am just talking from personal experiences. Harel hasn't let me down, yet.

DW and I would like to spend an afternoon wine tasting in the North (Galil or Golan Heights), have a gourmet dinner at the winery, and then spend the night somewhere nearby without having to drive.    I see that the Golan Heights Winery has a "VIP Tour" that includes a meal. Does anyone have more information about this tour/meal? Anyone stayed overnight in the area?  Other places to suggest for this kind of escape?
