I remembered you once wrote about Israeli Kashrus being complicated, but I'm not @TimT, so for my standards, pointing to this post will suffice (might not be a Mehadrin search level  ;) ) but in any event a different post in a different recently active thread, brought me upon this:

https://castbox.fm/episode/1%2F26%2F19-Kashrus-In-Eretz-Yisroel-and-Kashrus-Part-III-id1348308-id124608743?country=us
Kashrus in Europe and Israel should be added to the why people go OTD thread.
So crazy:

Does anyone know if an Israeli kosher phone sim card works in a non-kosher world phone, both Cellcom and Golan? Thanks

For 3 hours after posting there’s an option to “modify” it.
At the top of the post there’s “quote” “modify” “remove”

The Israeli networks have a list of all the imei series of the kosher phones marketed in Israel.  When the phone checks in with the network, the network IDs it as a kosher sim and checks the phones imei number against the list. If it's not a kosher imei, it blocks the line and it needs to be manually reactivated by customer service.

To kasher a phone, you need to change its imei to match a kosher imei series.  This is only possible on some phones.

Is there a list of koser imei out there?

Planning to be in EY for Pesach.  Guy in my shul spooked me, saying that driving everywhere during C”H will be brutal — awful traffic.  “Don’t even think about driving to Tsfat or Yam HaMelach — hours of traffic. “

Is it really that bad? Should I just plan to be in Jerusalem? (This will help us determine whether to rent a car, as parking is a cost and hassle consideration as well.). TIA

Driving in the city may be a mess but it's always a mess even on a regular day ( during "rush hour").
If your driving down to the Yam Hamelech dont see the problem.
Going up North like to Tzfas probably in the actual city will a mess but once you hit highways doubt there will be traffic.

Last chol hamoed pesach I remember there being alot of traffic on some of the highways through the TA area and on the 1 west of Jerusalem in both directions, but nothing that would make me not want to drive. Was similar to rush hour in those areas, but further out (we were in Haifa/Zichron Yaakov/Caesarea) was fine. About going out to the dead sea, I've never driven there on Chol Hamoed but generally I've found that the 1 East of Jerusalem and the 90 usually move pretty well unless there's an accident or construction.

Basically, I'd expect there to be some extra traffic but I wouldn't say you have to stay in Jerusalem because of it.

Thank you both.
As much as we love being in Jerusalem, it is comforting to know that we don’t need to feel confined to it.

Does anyone have recommendations for a private tour guide/private tour services for a family of 3 people.

The goal is to arrange a private tour of tourist sites in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Herzliya.

There is. It's all the way in the front, on the right side, next top the mechitzas. Not sure the exact time it starts, but it's somewhere around candle lighting.
