Idk about Egged, but for the past few years Hoffman has had busses going from Bar Ilan/Shmuel Hanavi non-stop and you just come and pay, no signup required. Same on the way back. I did it once and found it very efficient and easy. Keep  your eyes open for their signs.

Actually thinking about taking the train...

Interesting idea. It'll be a lot longer of a trip, but more comfortable.

That s exactly what I was thinking. Bus will go directly there and back but prob loads of traffic.
Trains have to switch twice probably and then get onto on the bus.. if there is less traffic to/from the train station in Karmiel it may be worth it.
Found the map, seems like there is a bus directly the train station.

I have a friend who did it, didn't save time and the bus from the train was a disaster

Where is a good place to buy jewelry in Jerusalem at good prices? All I know about are the stores in Geula.
Also how do prices compare to the US?

If your getting a VAT refund maybe you can save some money.

They are adding more trains this year (not sure if this is new). I myself am considering doing it now :) thanks for the idea!

Doesn't seem like the train is the problem, seem s like the bus from the train to Kever is  the problem.
If someone can get a schedule for busses and post it here that would be great.

They should add more buses or shuttles as they call it, and not more trains

What’s the best way up to Meron? 2 options. Drive to tzfas and take bus from there or take bus from Yerushalayim? If go to tzfas, get to spend some time there as well. If take bus from Yerushalayim sounds like easier trip. 3rd option drive to parking lot in carmiel. Any suggestions?
