They gave us trays and molds and we were able to write/draw in the chocolate. There were bottles of chocolate and vanilla bottles so you could make designs. Chocolate was delicious as well, although mine was left in the car and melted all over. From what I remember, little kids could have a great time there.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

it's also interesting (at least it was for me) to see the way they make the chocolate they sell like the "mekupelet" (chocolate that looks like a wood log) and more...

Eretz Bereishit would be perfect for those ages Dan! We went a few years ago and had a great time. You take a short camel ride in the middle of a picturesque desert with rolling hills, then you stop at a tent where you meet Avrohom Avinu and his servant Eliezer, who explain to you how they used to live and make some refreshments (pita?), light drinks, etc. When we went we weren't sure of the hashgacha, so we didn't partake, but still had a great time and highly recommend it! It can get booked up, so definitely reserve in advance.

Also great for that age is the Ramat Gan drive-through safari, with a more traditional zoo at the end, and Gan Guru near Tiveria, the only place outside Australia where you can feed kangaroos.

Yeah, what the deal with it, I heard good things about it but never went there?
Is good for all ages? How big is the place, how much time is good to spend there, best time of year to visit?

We went in November, but any time the weather's nice you'll have a great time. The kangaroos are outdoors, and there are some bird enclosures where they give you sticks with food the birds like to eat, and they land on you and eat them - makes for great pictures! I think we spent 2ish hours, but it's been a while.

De Karina Boutique Chocolate Factory.
We had a great time there.
there is this place "Bereshit apple factory" https://goo.gl/maps/WngW3F52WgFy88jCA a 25 minute drive from de karina and you see how the apples are sorted, washed, divided, packed and stored (but the apple picking season is more around Sukkos time but you could give them a call and ask if they have tours now, if yes what you see).
and don't forget that you are not far from "agmon hachola" https://goo.gl/maps/kxBWB8THERBx9Bxw9
