Trying to finalize my itinerary.

Where can I go horseback riding with kids (ages 6-11)?

Can we visit Tel Dan and Rosh Hanikra on the same day?

Any recommended apps for self guided tours in Yerushalayim and Tzfas?

How long is the Ramparts Walk? (Is it good for kids, ages 6-11?)

On the way up to Rosh Hanikra there is a nice horseback riding place in a moshav called Beit Oren. You can ride through the mountains and they have Jeeping as well.

Not sure where to post.  My friend recommended that I stay at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem but I checked the Good for Sale/Trade section and did not see any certificates available for LHW properties.  Did I miss the thread?

Can you recommend a high-end hotel in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv where I can buy certs to save $$$?  It is our 25th wedding anniversary so I have to splurge on this trip but I would appreciate saving a little jack....

Thanks in advance.

Anthony

Tel Dan and Rosh Hanikra are pretty far apart. You could technically do them both in the same day, but it's a lot of driving, and skipping lots of great stuff in between. We did the southern Ramparts Walk in about 45 minutes, not stopping too often because it can get really hot up there in the summer. The northern section is supposed to be longer.
Southern? Isn't that around the Arab quarter? Any reason to do one over the other?

Hey Guys, Just a reminder, I do awesome tours of the Jewish and Muslim Quarters of the old city. @Dan has taken and recommended my Muslim quarter tours. I have to give a personal shout out/thank you to the forums here, they have accounted for probably 75% of my tours recently. I have had a few repeat customers who have enjoyed my tour so much that they have done it again with other family members. Look in the previous posts here on the boards, I have many great reviews.

I also offer a yeshiva bachur muslim quarter special rate! (I'm popular in the Mir :) )

Send me a PM or whatsapp me at +15169867288!

I did the old city tour with him twice, once with my wife and daughter several months ago. Last week I did the tour with my 13yr old son, my son said it was his best part of his week in Israel. He was begging me that same day to book him for another tour.

Great pictures, of "Mekom Hamikosh"

He is very reasonable, you will get a private tour for the price of a group tour.

Going with my 5 & 7 year old kids. Had anyone experienced Galita choclate factory recently? How is it with kids?

Any other recommendations would've been highly appreciated, like what hikes to take and any other activities that are age appropriate.

Thanks!

My wife and I went with @satturn on the old city tour and we brought our one year old in the stroller. We had a fantastic time, and he was very conscious of the stroller and made sure we got to see everything. We have lived in Israel for five years, and I spent my summers in Israel and have been on a lot of tours in the Old City. I thought I knew the old city before, but he showed us a whole new fascinating side. A family friend with little kid ages 5-14 and they were beyond ecstatic by the tour. I can see why @Dan can spend a whole day with @satturn and not get bored. This is definitely a great find!
