Was @ Modern yesterday. They have a new Modern 'Express' menu. I noticed the roast beef sandwhich is now officially hot, and reduced to 45. (Not sure if it still includes soup & drink). There are few other items on the lunch menu at that price range.

Value is amazing IMHO.

BTW, IMHO the soup and drink included, would make a big difference value-wise.

Israel Museum. OU Israel. Contrary to their website, they close daily at 17:30 except for TUE & THU.

My favorite mehadrin place in J'lem.

Don't get the salad - its just a bunch of lettuce.

Desserts are expensive and horrible.

It's inside the museum? Isn't that a somewhat out of the way? At least 15 min. Walk from Gan Socher, no?

You need to pay museum admission?

You need to pay museum admission?

The 'way' is not an objective definition. Its less than 5 minutes from the Wolfson towers, and the walk is pretty. Plenty of parking.

Not only do u not have to pay admission, I've even managed to visit the museum for free afterwards. (Due to ethical issues I walked promptly out).

-there are quite a few items for 45. Hamburgers, chicken salad, wings, etc. I can certify the chicken and beef sandwhichs are great.
-There is no time limitation on these 45 shekel items, and they are served at night too.
-The 45 shekel option do not incl lettuce & lemonade

So all you get for 45 NIS is a sandwich?

Anything Mehadrin in TLV (come to think of it, both, the city & airport)?
(of course with high [quality] food, and low prices, ya know, this is DDF after all

Alternativ is a nice decent cafe (a la Rimon).

Deca is a high end dairy place, but prices are quite reasonable (my Dad thought prices were in USD). Probably the best experience I ever had at a restaurant, but I'm not the typical foodie.

AFAIK there's only 1 place.

Its called the cactus ranch. Cost over 100 nis per person.
