Waffle Bar in R Eshkol, rubin.

Trying a very Israeli sounding grilled Laffe & Cheese...

How was it? I think it's a pretty good place...

Coffee was excellent. Place is cute. Waffles looked good, but I didn't eat any. Don't buy these toasted laffes.

Sheyan, RYU & perhaps also Teiku.

There's a place on Azza called Beijing that's Mehadrin, the hechesher says its from בית המדרש למשגיחי כשרות

about 10 years ago the 443 used to be dangerous. today it is safe. Although the israeli supreme court allowed "palestinian" drivers to use it, that is only for a small stretch of it, and the israeli security checks the arabs at the checkpoint, so that practically it does not pay for them to use the road, and they use their own local village roads instead.

I drive/ride that road very often...

It is still a bit dangerous, there have been (rare) recent incidents of rock throwing, near the gas station on the J'lem bound side.

I would say it is safer of a ride than highway 1. It is straighter, less dangerous curves as opposed to Kvish 1 which has more accidents. Of course it is safer if you are driving to Kiryat SEFER!  :P (Thanks AYM for the pun 12.5 years ago)

Drive safely!!

Beijing is excellent asian food, but no sushi. For more info on the hechsher, pm me ( I was a little involved).
Last night was my first time at the new Waffle Bar in Ramat Eshkol (Rubin hechsher) and all agreed that the food was very good and nicely presented. 3 out of four mains were very good (Italian foccacia, spaghetti and stirfry salad , one we didn't care for (a salty crepe). The milkshake was enjoyed and the Iced coffee with (fake) Bailey's was delicious.
