Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

What are you talking about?
The DO or the waffles?

Anyone have any good ideas of what to do/where to go for a tenth anniversary? I am looking for a short trip or something, near Yerushalayim or Bnei Brak or in between.

Thanks!

IMO, the Caffit at the Botanical Gardens is great. Their salad with the sweet potato fries are delicious, and I've been happy with everything I've eaten there.

Beit Avi Chai is decent. Very happy with the breakfast buffet. Iffy with the lunch quasi buffet.

Used half off coupons both times I've been there.

Kaffit would be nice since you can combine it with a romantic walk through the Botanical Gardens, although I wasn't intending that when I wrote the post.

There's a mehadrin Cafe Cafe at the Dead sea now. HT dealer.
yup, over a year now.

Cafe Cafe just opened a branch at the Dead Sea and I spoke with the Mashgiach to ascertain its' kashrus status. For the benefit of the DDF world, I'm posting the information I received here.

Don't necessarily accept this as a conclusive recommendation to eat there and as always, ask your LOR.

Officially, the restaurant (it's a dairy one) is Mehadrin under the local Rabbanut. For those who aren't familiar w/ the local kashrus scene, legally a restaurant is required to have a local certification from the Rabbanut even if they have a national one e.g. Eidah or Rubin etc; Hence, you will see plenty of establishments w/ two.

The Mashgiach said that the vegetables are all Eidah Chareidis w/ the greens under R' Efrati. The fish is under Rubin and Eidah. The milk and cheeses are Mehadrin.

If you're so inclined, you can call the restaurant at 08-658-1688 and ask for the Mashgiach.

Enjoy!
