They all have problems and scandals.
http://lifeinisrael.blogspot.co.il/2011/01/eidas-kashrus-scandal.html

Regardless, this guy runs a good website giving kashrus tips and updates. He used to give shuk tours, b/c there's a lot of kashrus trickery there as well.

Oh Reuven,

So some very "trustworthy" blog says the Eidah is not good, therefore since I can't get "no scandal kosher" anywhere I might as well eat by a deffinitly not good hechsher. Makes alot of sense being your from the "rationalists".

But how are their waffles ???
I didn't care for them. Those I was with were happy. The ice cream and toppings were good, the waffle itself, meh.

You'd think they'd try to excel at that.

Cafe Rimon's Belgian Waffle is outstanding IMHO.

The place is subpar & expensive.  Very comfortable chairs & good coffee are still something though.
Others seem to like their waffles though.

Food/dring is beyond doubt better at rimon, however I dislike rimon because its very crowded (especially on motzash. Waffle bar is def better for a conversation

Best place for breakfast IMO is Greg Coffee in Mamilla. Generous portions, interesting dips, quiet location, and great desserts.

I was eating by Ramon almost every day  , if you look on the big picture there is much better places with much better service and food .

For example : the salmon cost about 78 shekel , small cut look like was taking from a fish on diet , wait 25 min to 45 min

I decided to switch to somewhere else

Then when ever I was in the mood of salmon I went to Sushi Japanika in SHlomtzion st.
Better parking , faster and much more friendly service (updated playlist ) and the salmon is 65 shekel and you get a huge cut ,And you never have your neighbor sitting there listening to your conversation  the only problem is that to guarantee a seat you need to make reservation

Lately thy switch the menu and I don't like the way thy done the salmon

this is just one example , there is amazing places and cafe RImon is not one of them

All I said is that Rimon's Belgian Waffle dessert (which comes with with Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream) is outstanding...I vouch for nothing else on the menu.

Israel Museum. OU Israel. Contrary to their website, they close daily at 17:30 except for TUE & THU.

My favorite mehadrin place in J'lem.

Don't get the salad - its just a bunch of lettuce.

Desserts are expensive and horrible.

One of my favorites.
Like the audience better then the food , the main curse is the only thing worth worth the price
