I'd like to go to Kivrei Tzaddikim up north with a tour. Any recommendations?
If you are in Yerushlayim you can find signs for a 1 day trip for a reasonable price in the Geula neighborhood

What are the things to consider when Choosing either rent a car or to use public transport?

We’re going in July for 2 weeks.
Week 1 will be bouncing around a lot, visiting people in TLV, Ranana, Beersheba and tzfas, ending in Jerusalem for the second week.
Rental car for a week from a broker is around $400, and google claims that driving time to most destinations is about half of transit.
If you are out of Yerushlayim in my opinion a car is great. In yerushlayim it is a big pain, traffic and finding parking is very difficult in my opinion

That's what I was wondering. I've seen signs in bus stops in the past but have never gone on any of them. Are these drivers reliable? Do you know where they go? I've gone with professional tours in the past but there's too much dreying around at touristy spots (and they're around $125).

Thanks.

Given they we're traveling without kids or much luggage, I feel like renting a car might be more of a headache even outside yerushalayim... Ajdbnit having to drive might be nice even if the bus/train takes twice as long as driving.

But I'm entirely unfamiliar with the public transport infrastructure outside Jerusalem.
Is it reliable inn any way?

It depends how you look at things, public transportation is pretty good, albeit timing on buses can be off sometimes but pretty reliable. Trains are nice but depends where your going.
Intercity buses can be a pain but it could be you don't mind it... most people do take it.
A combo of buses and trains can work and will usally be cheaper then a car as long as you plan correctly like unlimited passes for the day etc...

Going with a 3 and 5 year old next week. Will be based on J-lem.
It is supposed to be 90 degrees every day so want to be strategic and not get burnt out  ;D
Right now our exciting plans include Galita and that is about it. We are also considering Ein Yael.
Other ideas are appreciated!
Galita is great.

Eretz Bereshit?
Dig for a day?

Thanks for the ideas. We are booking Galita, it is a shame the amusement park is closed during the week.

Any does someone have a recommendation for a driver with a van? Searched the thread and saw some old ones.

I have a lot of the same questions as recent posters plus some more. Any info or leads appreciated!
For example where can I buy shabbos food takeout in Jerusalem? I would do a full shabbos package from 1 place if they have good reviews.
How to go about renting a car?
Does anyone have recommendations for a ATV tour?
Restaurant recommendations with good food and hechsher, nothing fancy
Thank you
