Thanks guys
I'll look around geula for signs and if not it will have to be a driver. Hoffman is not for me
But I do remember the tour guide who we went with was Aharon Tzvi Saks, who lives in Meah Shearim and had a 12 or 15 seat van. He took us all over eretz yisroel, in a marathon trip, from neitz by the Kosel till very late at night.
This is the contact I have for him, I hope it's still accurate: 025eight22257 and American # 91seven, 4seven4, 8one60

Heimishe drivers as in upthread...200-300 shekel per hour. Minimum 10 hours. Or check posters in Geula for buses that sometimes go up north for the day.
Can get much cheaper than that

If you do 10 hours you should be able to get a better price that what he is quoting. Pm for contact who can arrange.

There are also taxi drivers who will be happy to arrange in advance to drive you around for the day for much less than those numbers.

I called several of the heimishe groups. Could not get cheaper for a 20 passenger. It was last minute, though and a large vehicle. I also had  someone who lives there do the calling...

For 20 pax 200-300 makes sense. I didn't chap you meant so big.

Technically, if you stay on the correct route the whole time.
HOWEVER, there are a lot of turns in the road and the exit goes straight, and as the cabbie told us:
 "PONIM YEMINA, YOU'RE DEAD!"

Anybody know what's the story with wineries this year (Shemitta)? Are there tours?
Any specific ones you recommend?

Most  people dont do it since its not safe.
