all i was saying that making pasta from scratch isnt an excuse to wait at a restaurant, since in all likelihood, they didnt roll it out while you were waiting

That's what I mean "afaict"; as far as I could tell, because she was rolling out the dough, scraping it out or something. It took a lot of time but it tasted good, to me. I am not a baki in (preparing) Italian food.

I just remembered, another place that had great pasta was Plaza Primevera. I assume it is still around, in the Leonardo Plaza? It is Rabanut Yerushalayim Mehadrin.
siyag lachachma :-)

Anybody been in keyara on the groupon deal yet?
A friend was there yesterday, first thing they asked when making a reservation on the phone, was with groupon? First thing when walking in, with groupon? He claims menu was a drop different for him. Some free extras missing etc.

just barely.  they've got some really good appetizers but their basic steak is barely edible.     if you get their top steak it's really nice, but it will also cost you something in the range of 2-300 shek.   (i haven't been there in 2 years probably, so this is just what i recall)

that's really low, it specifically says on the groupon that you get the full range of options.    welcome to israel.          anyway, like i mentioned before i bought a couple too many of the coupons, so if anyone wants them please let me know asap.     if noones taking them i'm gonna refund them.   (and i'm not negotiating on price; if you don't take it, i'm getting a refund)
