How about a nice zoo? The one in Jerusalem is supposed to be very expensive apparently.

But well worth it. It was built very nicely, and really incorporates the natural area into it's small size.

The Ayalon Institute has a British era bullet factory museum in/near Rechovot - It was fun to see and interesting history to experience. It was pretty cool overall and cheap to do as well.

Also, in Gush Etzion the museum from the war in '48. Really cool as well. They show you a video and then reveal the bunker right behind the screen where some of the events took place. Pretty awe inspiring.

Then there is a trail in the west bank called - Derech Ha'Avot - good stuff - you get some great views and get to see some mikvaot allegedly from the days of the Mikdash. You may also find some grapes to eat while on the trail. They claim that the Avot walked there, hence the name.

-1. Actually, if you're eating straight from any tree (and not packing for later or piling it up) there's no chiyuv truma or maaser. In particular to trees on the trail, there's no chiyuv at all because there's no chiyuv by hefker. For further details, ask your LOR. Or better yet, crack a sefer. If you live here, you might as well learn the halachos.

And btw dude, it doesn't apply when packing for later. Chiyuv Truma is chal when the fruit enters a house or similar enclosure.

And btw dude, it doesn't apply when packing for later. Chiyuv Truma is chal when the fruit enters a house or similar enclosure.
There are actually several things that bring on the chiyuv. One is 'רואה פני הבית', which is what you're talking about (יו'ד של'א, סע' פג). Another is piling it in your hand, putting it in a bag, box, etc. - something that packages it, which is what I'm talking about (יו'ד של'א,סע' פז, פט). Another is Shabbos - if Shabbos comes in, the chiyuv is chal. עיין שם עוד

In Eretz Yisroel, even Safeik Orlah is Assur. (יו'ד רצ'ד, סע'ט)
The trick is knowing what's a safeik. Most trees will not bear fruit within the first 3 years of their lives. The reason it's a problem is because trees that are grown commercially are moved after they've (somewhat) matured, which starts the three years of Orlah counting over (sometimes) but the tree is b'etsem older than that. So it can be first three years of Orlah, but it can bear fruit. Obviously, this isn't a problem in the wild.
Also, there are certain trees that grow low to the ground and a shoot will sprout from the tree that will go underground and come up again, halachically a new plant, and will grow fruit before it's three years.
Bottom line, you're average tree in the wild wouldn't (couldn't) have a safeik Orlah.
