6 is a paid road.
Highway 2 can work as well, though it takes a little longer.

I don't remember 90 feeling unsafe; it wasn't very busy when I drove it.
Perhaps driving it with care and patience can mitigate its dangers?

90 is one the unsafest highways in Israel. Nothing to do with feelings.
Driving with care won't help you from a car coming the wrong way in your lane

I don't remember 90 feeling unsafe; it wasn't very busy when I drove it.  And I liked it for the reasons stated above.
Perhaps driving it with care and patience can mitigate its dangers?
I guess everyone has to find his comfort level.

Depends on the area. For a large part of it, it's a narrow, twisty, one lane each way road with poor visibility, particularly at night, being as there aren't really lights. (It's a gorgeous drive up North during the daytime.) It's not hard to lose control. It's also not uncommon for one to be driving slowly, given the difficulties of traveling it, and someone behind them getting frustrated, given that it's a one lane road without any safe passing options, resulting in them doing an unsafe maneuver to try to get around them.

I'm almost always wiped out when I come back from a night drive on the 90, and I usually don't have a hard time with long drives or night driving. I'm literally driving on the edge of my seat straining for visibility and optimal control.

There seem to be a disproportionate amount of accidents on the 6, though, considering that it's a modern highway with decent lanes and sufficient lighting.

Is there a current list of the best sites to search for apartments in Yerushalayim besides the usual sites like Airbnb, VRBO, etc? Haven't been in awhile and going with some relatives who need a 4 bedroom, not sure the best sites to search on. Or if anyone has personal experience with brokers, though I'd prefer a site with reviews if possible.

I had a good experience with isrentals.co.il
They only list properties they manage/own though.

Thanks, search function doesn't seem to be working though. Times out no matter what I put in.

Try the standard booking sites like Expedia etc.

Any suggestions for a nice, clean, updated cabin to rent in the golan heights? I'm looking to go in the summer, and Id like to book before they all sell out. Pool is a plus but not a must. Going with wife and kids iyh so needs to be at least 2 rooms (can be sofa bed for the second room, but can't be a studio sort of thing) TIA
