whats the easiest way to get a card for the light-rail train? Would need a few cards or can swipe one a few times for numerous passengers?
TY
Online, if you have an Israeli address to ship the cards to. You just need to upload a passport for each applicant.
The train requires a different card for each person, unlike the bus.

In person options?
Back in the day, before they enabled online applications, we used to walk into Shefa mall and wait on line. No line on good days, 2 hours on bad days.
Btw, if you want to mail them to me and then pick them up when you arrive, you are welcome to. (My family and friends have availed themselves of this option before.)

Oh, I forgot - you CAN buy anonymous ones practically anywhere (even some machines in the airport dispense them). But you can't put any weekly or monthly passes on them. You also won't get the discount for children or seniors.

You used to be able to get them in Tachana, is that no longer the case?

So, we are going to be planning our first trip to Israel in March 16th - 25th and would appreciate suggestions on where to split our nights.
Would like to minimize the number of 3 hotels during our stay.  On the 25th, we depart at midnight.

3-4 Nights TLV? (Carlton or ???)
2 Nights - Where and What hotel?
3-4 Nights Jerusalem? (King David or Waldorf)

1)  Where should we go in the middle?  Galilee or ???  Any suggestion for hotel?
2)  How many nights in TLV vs Jerusalem?
3)  What else should I consider booking this far in advance?

Thanks for your help.

Kempinski for Tel Aviv.

1)Definitely do the Galilee. Check out the Setai

2) depends what you're looking to do

Hilton TLV is a cheaper alternative especially when paying with point | FNC

In Jerusalem go with WA if you can find point availability / FNC

I went to Kiyat Sanz separate beach today. Online it states odd days have morning hours for men.
That  wasn’t the case. All day women or all day men only.

Where did you see that?
As far as I know the only beach that changes during the day is CHADERA. Sanz is in Netanya.

What is the easiest basic way to get Rav Kav for bus and the light rail for a family. Its just for a few weeks, so just to hop on and off, and not have to go to a machine each timeI see the light rail coming...And my understanding I would have to get separate one for each family member...(Its too late for mailing) If I use the app I believe it is only for 1 person...

They’re available everywhere, see here:
https://israelbylocals.com/rav-kav-jerusalem/
You can get a separate card for each family member or you can just swipe the same card multiple times.
The app is a very easy way to load your Rav Kav all you need to do is scan the card with your phone, making it very easy to load multiple cards.
