@jj1000 First of all - A Gmar Chasima Tova and I hope you enjoy your trip.

I would do bental on the way back from nimrod on wed.
Also, I'm not sure you could count on getting shabbos food @ 2:45pm (at the earliest!) on friday... it's three hours to shkiya...

You keep one day? ??? (maybe it's a chabad thing?)

This is not a trip for him:
but I added and let them decide.

Small people talk about other people.
Average people talk about things
BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.

Traveling to Israel with DW and 2 kids for sukkos. Trying to decide if we should bring 2 single travel strollers or a double. On one hand it will be better to have a good, strong, sterdy stroller on the bumby stone and not having to always have 2 people pushing. On other hand I feel like it will be difficult to navigate the crowds and busy sidewalks/steps, and transportation with a big double.
Any thoughts?

My thoughts...
Best to be as "narrow" as possible as possible unless you plan taking taxis every where.
Dont know ages of children but you can always carry one in your arms.

As a parent living in JLM w children 3.5,2,1 - aside from the buses the answer is definitey a good double. We have a MB Duet and its fine - not much wider than a single, sturdy - we often push it with all three on (the 3 year old sits on the front above the wheels)...
It's probably easier to get one double through a crowd than two singles... and on crowded busses (to the kosel or KR) neither is a great plan, though during the year all locals deal with it.
Maybe bring one larger single like a baby jogger where in a pinch the older one can sit on the step?
Again, depends on your itinerary...

It really depends on what you plan on doing.

Will you have a car? [if so, will 2 singles fit in it? the double?]
Will you be walking a lot? Which tiyulim (trips) do you plan on doing? Will you be walking uphill or on flat areas? Will you be just going up and down the block?
Do you have a relative here that can lend you one or the other?
Can one/both of them walk if need be? How old are the kids? Are they heavy? Are you (or your wife) strong? Can you hold them, need be?
Why do you have both 2 singles and a double? Do you always use 2 singles instead of a double?

Just a heads up for anyone here for sukkos:
If you want to anything touristy without the crowds (aside from the sukkos related stuff like buying 4 minim) now's the time.
The kosel is uncrowded, as is Kever Rochel. As are dozens of other sites across the country.
The locals are not on vacation yet - so this is your time to enjoy!

Trying to find a guide in Yerushalaim for tomorrow (last minute, I know...). Old City, Kosel Tunnels, Ir David, etc. Tried reaching out to @satturn but no response so far. Any other recommendations? I know the likelihood of anyone still being available is slim but would like to give it a shot.

The article is about something much more basic than respecting local norms..... The whole article could have just stated "We find these truths to be self-evident" and the rest should be self-understood by anyone with an ounce of awareness and menschlichkeit. Thanks for sharing.

There was a discussion about a quiet interesting park in Jerusalem here somewhere
There was a picture describing it not being shady enough. Can't seem to find it. Anyone want to help?

Just found a REALY nice park - huge grassy areas, expansive, extensive and interesting chilrens play areas - A clean sand box!
Its located next to pais arena. (enterance is just to the left of the areana when coming from teddy stadium) I think it may be an extension of park hamesila.
Its like a smaller gan sacher without the overbearing crowds.
Take any bus to malcha that uses begin. (~15 min from CBS vs ~60 on local busses)
