Things To Do In Israel Master Thread

Ugh. I should have figured the Israel thread would be well over 500 posts. I am going to israel chanukah? Is there a list of top things not to be missed in israel? I did a pretty extensive tour of the country 4 years ago. That was in the summer though are there different things to do in the winter? I will read through the thread, just wondering if anyone has some good quick tips.

u ski? go all the way up north  its gorgeous - הר חרמון. maybe even go eilat its very good normal whether, scuba diving- its abnormal amazing :-)

Why would I ski in Israel? I acgtually never have and I'd like to but shouldn't I got to Colorado for that? I have 12 days in Israel is Skiing really a good use of time? Unless it's something special about har charmon I'm missing? (I hated Eilat and told myself I'd never go back, there is no reason a resort city can't import some high quality sand.)

That's a great question. Problem is I am going with 2 other guys and 1 of them although born in Israel hasn't been back since he was 2 so we will have to do a repeat of many stuff I've already done... If there was a list of things that must be seen than I'd know what I have to do. I probably want a few hikes up north, some wineries, and to find out what I didn't do the first time. In general I just want to be in Israel again, the activities are secondary to me.

i was going to ask u that, just soak it all  up :-) dont forget it will be chilly, last yr it was a very cold winter here (we had snow) but def, just eNjoy it here esp since just guys have fun and relax, but tzfas tveria meron, mir, chevron, ein gedi, massada,

Used to be Chinese place called China Lee, haven't been there in a long time.

Deca is the nicest restaurant Ive ever been to, but it's milchig. Prices are quite reasonable (my companion kept insisting they were in USD)

Thanks, I ended up eating at Art Meat and wouldn't recommend it unless there is nothing else. I was told there's a great Milchige place "Alternative" as well.
