I must assume based on your last post that these are not mehadrin? :P

As moish said...

black bar and burger has a few locations. most arent kosher, but one has a rabbanut (non mehadrin)

Also, I'd be pretty shocked if the steak at the David Hotel in Tel Aviv turns out to be Mehadrin.

So, if you want recommendations... what's your standard?

I'd prefer mehadrin (though, it's been awhile since I've been in Israel, so if the standards have changed...)

if youll be in israel before feb 11, this agas vetapuach groupon might be of interest to you (only if your meal would be under 500 shekel)

Many thanks.

How do you figure the 500 shek limit? I see 25 for 50 and 48 for 100? I don't see a mention of a limit (or my hebrew is not good enough to see one).

because if you would spend over 500, youd be better off with a 10% off coupon which is easily found (such as on eluna.co.il)

(and i need to modify my above statement to 520)

Hmm...

If I'm spending 600 shek, I can buy  6 x 100 shek deals and spend 288 shek, right?

So how would 10% off 600 shek be better than this deal?

Not only you. Everyone knows everything there tastes like Soy sauce.

Potatoes are great as well as fondant dessert. Ask for the garlic chicken, not on the menu but the only edible thing there

So would you say are the top 3 restaurants in Israel, doesn't matter the cuisine or if they are dairy/meat. Gonna be there soon...

Rank.... now! :)

So no opinions?

To simplify, make it any restaurant and state level of kashrus.

My own suggestions, though it's been more than 3 years since I had them:

TLV: Alter-Nativ (Good pasta dishes, milkshake, and creme brulee)
Tiberias: Cafe C
Tzfat: Felafel place at the end of the midrachov on the left is great.
J'lem: Cafe Rimon Meat (Don't know current kashrus status) had an incredible philly steak sandwich, though IIRC chuchem claimed that since they reopened it's not good anymore?

Are you saying that keyara is better? Or just that sheyan is bad?

Keyara is great. I find their service a bit overbearing so generally eat at Modern. Between those 2 I'm all set.
