Brazillion? What is that? It comes after million, billion, and trillion? :P

Ask Uncle Moishy...
It's not about the quantity of your posts.  It's about the quality.

I wasn't amazed by it, I think it's the lack of quality mehadrin dining that causes this.  Though I was just there once and it's already been many years.
I definitely preferred my $5 lunch special sesame chicken with fried rice delivered to EWR from New Kosher Special :D
IMHO, the holy land ain't the place for materialistic pursuits, I don't know of anyone who moved to E"Y for a better quality if life.  I don't plan on ever finding there the best steak or fillet mignon, it's the spirituality and holiness that's on the menu.

But BTW, FWIW there's a phenomenal eatery in the Carmel winery in Zichron Yaakov, it's called Bistro Carmel.  The food is A1, the ambiance is gorgeous, and the wine is ahhh, superb.
NNNNOOOOO!!!  Lol.  It's far from even decent I'd say. Lol. Plus u gotta love lunch specials in the US!
+1

Coming from Cleveland, it's hard to complain about the quality of the food in EY. The food there was nothing to write home about.

The problem is all you spoiled NY'ers  :)

Indeed, dairy it is, however they serve a delectable selection of exquisite cheeses, you actually taste what cheese is supposed to taste like.
Don't spread the word, I wouldn't want to spoil one of Israel's best kept secrets ;)

IIRC, it's under the widely respected Rabbanut Mehadrin of Zichron Yaakov.  FWIH, it's accepted by all.

BTW, it's called Bistro De Carmel, and http://bistrodecarmel.rest-e.co.il/ is their website.

 "About us

Bistro de Carmel is set in a venerable stone building, constructed by Baron Edmond de Rothschild 120 years ago, in the heart of the Zichron Ya’akov winery. With its recently-revealed stone walls, high ceilings, spacious rooms, and tall windows opening onto the winery - the Bistro de Carmel offers diners a discriminating setting for fine dining."

They've redone their menu more than twice since you we're here. We never get the all-you-can-eat option. Instead, we get a conjunto - a platter of steak, London broil, spring chicken, and mini-burgers. IOHO, it's very good. :)

Food stops on my upcoming trip.

Felafel:
Felafel Siya (on bar ilan)
Shalom Felafel (on Betzalel)
Miros (near the Mir)
Felafel Hateimani (on Yoel, Bukharian Shuk) excellent melawach falafel

Pizza:
Big Apple

Dairy:
Agass Vtapuach (Kikar Safra) groupon
Cafe Rimon
Sam Bagels (for my wife) (Ben Yehuda)

Meat:
Papigios (Talpiot) probably the Brazilian table

Schwarma:
Halo Teiman ( Paz station Kneisa Lair)
Maoz (King George across from Lev Yerushalayim)

Drinks, Dessert, and Pastries:
Mitz Pri for iced coffee (Geulah)
Aldo for ice cream (Yaffo)
Katzefet (froyo)for ice cream (Ben Yehuda)
Marzipan chocolate rugalech (Old City and Shuk)

These are all places I have been to many times. Is there anything here that's not around anymore, no longer Kosher, or no good anymore?

Where do I need to add to my list if options?
