For the first (and probably last) time going to Modern...what does everyone suggest the top dishes are? Also is the menu on Tuesday different than the menu on Thursday?

we need a third opinion here. although you did say in the past that you dont have typical taste in food.

whats not to like about rich chocolate nuggets, vanilla ice cream and crunchy threads?

you must be thinking about something else

Yes. I remembered getting it in the past but still very good. The garlic chicken was also very good even if its not the same as you were referring to...also breaded and fried.

Quite strange/sad I'd think, that out of all places, out of all airports in the world, the only one which has Mezuzas on every doorway (PRN), it's difficult to find Mehadrin Kosher food...

What about Aroma Espresso Bar (where Rafaelo used to be)? It has Rabbanut Mehadrin.

So I am going to Israel next week with my family. We have young kids: 5, 3, and 6 months. Was looking for some ideas on what to do when we are there and hopefully help get off this kashrus topic that no one is interested in reading about anymore.

Landing Tuesday afternoon and picking up car from Hertz at the Airport. We are going straight to Jtown and staying at the City Center hotel which is located at 17 King George Street. Staying there until Friday morning, then going to Be'er Sheva to family for shabbos. Then to the LM Dead Sea for Sunday night and Monday night, and leaving Tuesday morning.

Any tips or ideas on what to do in Jtown, Be'er Sheva, and the Dead Sea with such small children??

Look into Latrun its an army museum with a bunch of tanks... chizkiyahu water tunnels located in ihr david

Sushi Garden TR:

Pleasantly surprised. I liked my first roll so much, I decided to order some nigiri (mind you, I usually barely finish one roll). They were quite generous on the salmon (see attached photo).

All in all, I'm sure I'll be back... :)

Thats one thing I do not like about sushi...it takes around three rolls for me to be filled up...and its not cheap.
