IMHO if your looking for a solid steak Entricote is the way to go. I find that their dishes are generally OK or not bad but the basic no frills steak is very solid (7*).

Two in the town area
One on shlomzion hamalka and the other on Hillel
Both rabbanut IIRC

IMHO, Keyara serves a purpose as the only nice restaurant with a Jihadi hechsher . Only thing I've found to be extra special is the bread. Most people just go there to see and be seen.

Gabriel is pretty good by Israeli standards, but once you are eating at Rabbanut places there are much better options.

+1 on keyara

-1 for you on Gabriel, it ain't Rabbanut. I give it the top ratings compared to any other mehadrin restaurant in Israel.

Were you guys really awake at 3am arguing about grades?

Why not set up a poll for each of the places, and allow ppl to vote on the grade?

None of us original arguers were still up at 3. Was some fun knocking out 100 posts in a couple hours though. It was a site to see, after every post I wrote, I had to review two others that were just written.

About the polls- do you actually think it makes sense to start 50 polls?

Gabriel is Beit Yosef.

The bread is great & Keyara. Do u remember the bread they had when they opened? Much better.

That's what I was thinking. I can link up to Mikomos, which has ratings and reviews.

Updated the wiki, added Tel Aviv/Center restaurants, changed the look a little and added some info. Yare added Uzi's.

Just spoke to Cinnabom Mashgiach:

He says that Cinnabon is Rabbanut, Chalav Yisrael, and only uses Eida Charedis and Landau.
His number is 054-846-0500.
