You prefer the Gabriel experience over Decks?

Never said that.  Just didnt find any "decor" at Decks.  The experience was quite good...especially since I got a lot of extra food for free being that I was the last customer there and they had alot of food leftover on the grills.

was at decks 5 years ago was told not to go back for hecsher just rememberd that it was not fancy at all ,on the other hand gabriel was there once before when they were rabinut and after they became byy, and the place is beautiful definitely up to par as a Manhattan restaurant, the only difference is they took off the goose liver after they became byy.

I've never seen any other restaurant in the world get opinions ranging from a 1 to a 9.
I have to try this place myself one day.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Just went to Frangelica on Shlomtzion Halmalka using the Groupon coupon.
Hechser is rabbanut.
I split a combination plate w/ my friend, and we each had a German sounding beer.
The plate was 99 shekel, and included 2 soups (mosi?) and 18 pieces I think of different types of sushi and salmon w/ rice, and stuff (as you can see, I'm not a sushi expert)

I wasn't a fan of the soup (not my style) but the sushi and dips were tasty and it was a nice atmosphere.

They are part of a chain, and this branch opened 2 months ago, hence the coupon.
Annoyingly enough, they wouldn't allow us to put the beer on a separate bill so we could take advantage of the happy hour beer, but I think one was enough, especially seeing as I slipped off my bike a few minutes later and got a bit scraped up...

I have to try this place myself one day.
I can almost give those ratings myself on different visits. First thing to know is that the service is probably the worst I've ever experienced. And the owner keeps running around trying to help everyone because he knows it's bad. I'm not sure where he went to hire such unqualified people, but they are so bad it's a talent.

Second you have to use reverse psychology when ordering. The stuff that sounds good isnt, the stuff that doesn't sound good is. It's a messed up place, but it is possible to walk out with a 7 experience
