I'm looking for Shabbos meal options as well. So far I've heard of meals at lenoardo plaza, which was said to be very high priced, and meals at lev yerushalayim, which is a cheaper option. Any recommendations or other options? Thanks!

I highly recommend Machlis for both the experience and the food. Just don't be in a rush.
And MoisheBatchy lives nearby to boot

No offense, but machlis isn't a very normal situation. Not everyone can handle eating their shabbos seuda with the homeless.

It's only 3 or 4 homeless, and the other 100 are mainly bachurim and bachurot, and some tourists he picks up at the kotel.

It's an experience, even if its not for e/o.

Thanks for the info. I meant more like a hotel/restaurant style (like the plaza). Are there any others with good food?

There are also more "heimishe" places in Geulah/Meah She'arim, like Koritz or Shaarei Simcha (a.k.a. Shaarei Schnitzel).

Anyone do the tunnels in Ir David on their own? Do I need to reserve in advance?
