I'm giving Waffle Bar on Paran another shot these days, and am pleased to report that service seems to have improved dramatically. As far as the food is concerned, I've discovered that (like many places where I don't like the food) the trick is to find one or two gems on the menu, and stick with those.

In this case, my new favorite is their Toasted Laffa Wrap, Mushroom edition. Make sure to ask for extra sweet chili sauce on the side. The sweet potato ravioli was a bit peppery, but not too bad. And the Diet Coke... simply delectable. ;D
Have they added more seating inside or still limited?

Red Heifer report:
Ambience was great. Nicely decorated in a more modern style. Tables outside as well. When we went out for a few minutes of air in between courses they offered to serve our food outside. Though we declined on the food, they offered to bring us drinks as well.

Service was outstanding. They have definitely taken lessons from the American service model. Attentive, yet not overbearing. (The waitress even offered to hang my hat and jacket as I sat down - and they had a rack to put them on!) Nonetheless, they should definitely make the waiters more familiar with the different dishes. (Interestingly, my waiter was also just starting out. Maybe most waiters aren't up to the demand of actually providing service for their tip.)

Food was very good. Better than I remember their old location. We had garlic bread (no charge), the beer battered chicken tenders, slow braised beef salad (a special) and a New Yorker sandwich with fresh cut sweet potato fries. (We're not big eaters, usually like starters more than mains and usually one main is enough for the both of us.)

The garlic bread was tacky. Finger rolls sliced in half and spread with margarine?/oil? and garlic. Tasted okay, but was totally out of place with the rest.
The starters were nicely sized portions. The chicken tenders were excellent. Crunchy coating and juicy, tender chicken. If the jalapeno dipping sauce is too hot for you, you can ask for an alternative (they brought my wife a garlic mayo dip).
The braised beef salad tasted really good. The meat is served cold over the salad in small thick slices, with a sweet chili dressing. Good flavor and the meat was soft, with just enough chew.
The New Yorker has turkey and meat inside (I forget what meat). The dressing was overpowering and I did not care for it (too salty/garlicky), though my wife thought it was okay.
The sweet potato fries with sea salt were superb. Only place I've had better was Gladstone's, ob"m. They had a thin crispy outside and the inside was fluffy and soft and great flavor all around.

All in all a nice experience, next time I think I'll pick a proper piece of beef :D

The laws of physics are still strictly enforced around here, so... Yeah. Same deal. :(

Had a great meal at Keyara, started at 7:30pm and ended at 1:30am (they stayed open 2 hours longer then usual for us).
We had 3 courses, first was sushi which they agreed to bring from upstairs.. second was a bunch of appetizers and third was tons of meats, they had delicious lamb chops.. everything was great..

Ate twice at Luciana's in Mamilla, for the most part great.. They had the absolute best Spinach Ravioli in sundried tomato sauce... (I actually went back a second time just for that). Great pizza, the best cheesecake (new york) and the greek salad was also good (two other salads werent special, caesar and one more).. great gazpacho soup.
