Looking to rent a house on the coast (Hertzalyia, Casaria) with a pool for a week and a half during the summer, does anyone have a better suggestion than VRBO to look for one, or if someone know of one....?

Last year they did the groupons the same time, just bear in mind the nine days and it expires right after.

It would seem that Fish and Two Vegetables is a has-been. The sign is still up and the fridge is still stocked with drinks, but I haven't seen them open in weeks.

RIP.

True, true. I just didn't think it would happen so quickly - I figured at least another few months.

as predicted..
HEADS UP: Fish and Two Vegetables has changed hechsheirim, from Chug Chasam Sofer to Rabbanut Mehadrin.

The manager tells me it's because Chug was charging them 3,000 NIS a month, while RM only charges 800; meanwhile, the Chug mashgiach would come in once a day and just look around at the items being used, while the RM mashgiach actually checks the rice. And all their ingredients are Eida, anyway.

If you ask me, it sounds more like an upgrade, but to each their own...
the regular chitter chatter I am used to hearing from Israelis when they downgrade.... usually these things are a step before ....
Its interesting though, why the two sushi places look the way they do, I would think it would be a much better market. (although "the manager" there, did tell me your a big customer there.)
when it comes to these kind of businesses, Israelis are very bad ar it.
I can tell you now a number of other restaurants and stores here that just opened and there days are numbered, they don't think straight, other than "high tech".
